Serendipity!

My cousin's little boy, Nate, broke his arm today and they took him to Cardon's Childrens Hospital. He got an iv and the nurse brought him a toy for being so brave...and look what was on the back!

So sweet that Gavin's little cousin got a gift from him. <3
This is the first time that someone we know has received one of his toys!!

Nate probably would've preferred to NOT break his arm to get a ninja turtle (and so do his parents, I'm sure!) but since he did, I'm glad he got something out of it at least. ;) We hope you feel better, Nate!

Delivering the toys!

We hand delivered all of the toys to Cardon's Children's Hospital tonight! We ended up with FIVE laundry baskets and THREE hefty-sized bags FULL to the brims with TOYS!!! Over $600 worth of over 300 toys!!! This year we surpassed our goal by a landslide!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who joined us...what a GREAT way to wind down the year, and right before the holidays.

This year Andre's family got to join us, since they've lived out of state up until now, so that was fun for everyone!

As we were leaving we ran into one of the service dogs who "works" at the hospital...what a sweetie!
